Danielle Petrie
Yoga & Sculpt Instructor
Danielle was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. From the time she was a very small child, she was always artistic and became very involved in dance.

The movements were reminiscent of her dancing background, however on a much deeper level.
Having grown up in a household with plenty of adversity and the disease of addiction, she sought a totally different approach. She found her “home” in yoga and followed-up with a 200-hour Sivananda yoga training and 500-hour Hatha yoga training. From there, she started teaching right away and has taught all over the South Florida area for over twenty years.
In Danielle’s words:
“Yoga means so much to me on so many different levels. I have taught yoga for all types of people, shapes and sizes. From pre-schoolers to the elderly, to professional athletes. I have also created a yoga program for women with post traumatic stress disorder in a psychiatric hospital.
I see yoga transform and change lives everyday. It heals to the soul.
As a yoga teacher, I consider myself to be real and genuine. I believe my classes reflect this too. People feel when you do things from your heart. And my heart is my guide, my gift to share with others, and be the best role model to my students and my two fantastic children.
Needless to say, I am honored to do what I do and so excited to be leading the SOL Yoga Fort Lauderdale team!”

While Florida is now ‘home’, Kim Dorning is originally from South Africa. She has been practicing yoga for over 9 years, starting her journey with Bikram yoga and then Hot Vinyasa yoga.

A natural teacher and purveyor of positive energy, Lauren Cobb is known for creating dynamic, inspiring classes that challenge the body while uplifting the spirit.

With over 15 years of dedicated yoga practice, Lauren embodies the philosophy she teaches: fearlessly pursue what sets your soul on fire, take the leap, and trust the process. She completed her yoga teacher certification in 2018 and earned her mat Pilates certification in 2025, deepening her ability to guide students toward physical and emotional transformation.
Lauren currently teaches at SOL Yoga in South Florida, where her creative sequencing, thoughtful playlists, and radiant energy encourage students to move with purpose and presence.
When she’s not on the mat, you can find her by the pool, on the boat, or enjoying time with her husband and two children in sunny South Florida.

Penélope Torres

Penélope began her dynamic, artistic journey early in her life. This included exploring personal expression through movement by dancing, performing, drawing and creative writing.

She is a professional dancer and has completed her training / certification in Mat Pilates, Burn Barre, Virya HIIT, Bikram / Hot Yoga 200RYT, Barkan Method Hot Yoga, Reiki Level 1, and continues to pursue her yoga journey. Penélope loves teaching HIIT, Hot Pilates, Barre, Bikram yoga, and Vinyasa yoga and her passion for this powerful, life-changing yoga continually grows.
She is deeply grateful to her many teachers and all her students for everything they have taught her, and continue to teach her, about this practice. Penélope strives to be the best she can be and teach movement in a way that inspires others to find their own inner strength/peace.

In 2006 Victoria began teaching a variety of private clients and group classes in New York City, the Hamptons, and more recently in South Florida. Her belief is that we are perpetual students, always exploring this embodied life. The yoga mat offers a safe space to learn about the mind and tensions we may (consciously or unconsciously) hold in our bodies. Victoria’s intention is to provide tools that enable students to experience this process of discovery within themselves while making movement a playful yet purposeful practice. She loves creating lighthearted and fun special occasion classes such as bachelorette parties, birthdays and beachside flows.
