Ginger Harris

Ginger Harris

Pilates Instructor

Though she hails from the Midwest, Ginger Harris considers herself a Miamian, as she’s spent more than 20 years as a Miami Beach resident.

A gymnast and nationally competitive cheerleader in her younger years, Ginger has always dedicated a portion of her life to physical fitness. She’s also been a vegetarian for more than two decades. A devout yogi in her adult life, Ginger spent most of her 20s and 30s twisted like a pretzel in yoga poses. Seeing this, a friend encouraged her to try Pilates for the first time. Seven years later, she’s now a teacher. Ginger was astounded to find Pilates increased her flexibility and strength far beyond that of her 20-plus year yoga practice. Ginger is a firm believer that each day should begin or end with a workout, and she finds true happiness in her Pilates endorphin blast. Through Pilates, Ginger believes you can think more clearly, overcome stress, feel better about your physical appearance and heal injuries and mental hurdles. It’s these reasons why she is dedicating her life to helping others through Pilates. Plus, she thinks toning up muscles, particularly abs, is a pretty rewarding payoff, too. Yoga Instructor

Christine Kelly has been a devoted student of yoga for nearly two decades.

Loving all forms of movement growing up Christine was an avid athlete and competitive dancer. Throughout all the tides of life and relentless change, her practice remained a constant. She describes yoga as a work-in, a path home to her authentic self. Yoga provided a safe emotional and mental space to explore her inner world while simultaneously learning a more grounded way to be in the outer world. The mat is her home - one where she is most present, feels most beautiful, connected, empowered and humbled. Pursuing her passion for the practice Christine completed a 200hr YTT in an immersion course in Fiji (2013). Her prior background studying exercise and wellness at Arizona State University and massage therapy certification complemented what she learned in YTT. Since returning from Fiji, Christine has taught in various environments ranging from resort beaches in Hawai'i to leading events and classes in Arizona. She is now grateful to share her practice in Miami. Christine's classes encompass a powerful and fluid Vinyasa style. She maintains creativity for movement in her sequencing while allowing the time and space to settle into each pose. These asana holds allow stillness amongst the effort and helps ensure proper alignment for a safe practice. She aims to always keep both her classes and playlists novel and changing. Through sharing the gift of yoga Christine is devoted to inspiring others to be a catalyst for change in their lives, to never settle and to strive to be good humans both on and off of our mats. “Yoga reminds us that every day is different; we are ever evolving and changing. My hope is that through our persistent practice we can maintain connection to our breath and an open heart and mind, consciously allowing both our practice and our lives to unfold one beautiful and sacred breath at a time.”

Darren is a dedicated student of yoga who passionately shares the knowledge.

He has done his 500 hour Teacher Training with Skanda Yoga, 200 hour TT with Functional Power Yoga, and has assisted with 4 of Skanda’s TT200s. Darren views yoga as a system of growth and transformation beyond the mat.

Yoga has not been as easy path for Darren. Previously, he was an athlete and brought a lot of physical karma into his practice. He had ran over 50 full and half marathons, all while dribbling two basketballs, in less than two years for charity. His body was suffering and due to injuries was very limited initially but remained consistent and trusted the process. It’s still a process because Darren never wants to stop learning.

When teaching, Darren caters to all levels whether you’re an advanced Ashtangi with 15+ years on the mat or a beginner who is trying yoga for the first time. His classes are fun and challenging. Each one is uniquely themed and sequenced and includes a brief meditation with pranayama, breath work. Darren corrects alignment and habits that can lead to injury. He always holds space after each class to answer questions related to asana and other aspects of yoga. Take his class and feel good here!
